The service

Roughcut turns your script, product description, and brand color into a finished short video: scenes, motion, music, and a voiceover. Roughcut is in beta, which means it improves quickly and occasionally changes.

Your account

Keep your sign-in credentials safe and your account details accurate. An account is for one person; you are responsible for what happens under it.

Plan and billing

We offer three monthly plans, billed through Stripe:

• Starter — $29/month for 1 video. Pro — $99/month for 4 videos. Agency — $199/month for 10 videos.
• Your video quota resets at the start of each billing period. Unused videos do not roll over.
• Failed generations never count against your quota.
• You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
• If pricing changes, we will tell you before it affects you.

Your content

You own the scripts and product details you submit, and you own the videos Roughcut generates for you. You can use them commercially. You grant us the limited rights needed to process your inputs and host your videos.

Every video carries a small Roughcut watermark.

You are responsible for what you submit: it must be yours to use and lawful to publish.

Acceptable use

Do not use Roughcut to produce content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful, and do not abuse, probe, or resell the service. We can suspend accounts that do.

Content screening

We may use automated and manual checks to screen what you submit, and we can refuse, stop, or remove a generation that breaks these terms. Screening is a safeguard, not a guarantee: it will not catch everything, and it does not shift responsibility to us. What you submit and publish stays your responsibility.

Beta disclaimer

Roughcut is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a given video will fit your purpose; if a result is not right, tweak your script and generate again. We work hard to keep the service up, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability during beta.

Roughcut uses AI, so output can be unexpected, inaccurate, or resemble existing work. You are responsible for reviewing every video before you publish or rely on it, including for accuracy and for any third-party rights.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Adikia LLC and its operators against any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the content you submit or publish, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
